US: 16 Military Aviators Dead in Six Crashes in Past Few Weeks
TEHRAN (FNA)- Two soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division’s 101st Combat Aviation Brigade were killed Friday night when their AH-64E Apache helicopter crashed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Officials said the crew was conducting routine training at the time of the accident.
As is customary, the identities of the soldiers won’t be released until their families are notified, HEAVY reported.
The crash comes in the wake of five other crashes that claimed 14 lives since March 14.
