The terrorists were supposed to be filming one of their own picking off Syrian Army targets. But he was the one surprised.

Looks like he's trying to aim a rocket launcher, and something takes him out first.  Could have been a tank that blasted him, but also could have been an APC with a medium caliber gun such as the BMP-1 which carries a 73mm gun.
