Sen. Chuck Schumer offers Democrat help to fix Obamacare if repeal off the table
By S.A. Miller - The Washington Times - Sunday, March 26, 2017
Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer said Sunday that Democrats are ready to work with President Trump to fix Obamacare if Republicans abandon their drive to repeal the law.
The New York Democrat made the offer in the wake of Friday’s decision by Mr. Trump and House Speaker Paul D. Ryan to pull the GOP bill to repeal and replace Obamacare, also known as the Affordable Care Act or ACA.
The bill lacked enough Republican support to pass, including many defectors among conservatives. Democrats formed a united front against the effort.
“We Democrats, provided our Republican colleagues drop [repeal and replace] and stop undermining the ACA, are willing to work with our Republican friends — as long as they say no more repeal,” Mr. Schumer said on ABC’s “This Week.”

Translation - REPEAL is what they are afraid of. Not REPAIR not REPLACE. REPEAL ... and I am of the opinion that if that is what they are afraid of... then that is what we should be doing.
Give President Trump the same opportunity to sign the 2015 Obamacare repeal that was sent to Obama's desk.

Sounds like, in spite of what the Freedom Caucus and other assorted conservative groups want, repeal is already off the table.

Nice. So Schumer openly admits that ObamaCare is broken.
btw, repeal was never on the table. The GOP bill still mandates what must be covered and to whom.
