Democratic Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke’s senate campaign was flagged by the Federal Election Commission (FEC) on Sunday for accepting “excessive†and “impermissible†donations.
The FEC notified O’Rourke that a preliminary review of his campaign’s July quarterly report showed contributions from one or more individuals with addresses outside of the United States. Donations were also made that “exceed the limit†determined by the federal government. O’Rourke has 45 days to respond.

So after the election. That FEC is real responsive.

The Cruz campaign and Republican party don't have to wait for O'Rourke's response. They can blister him now and non-stop for accepting foreign donations. The only question is whether or not they will.

Accepting foreign donations is Standard Operating Procedure for Democrats. It was Indonesian money that launched Bill Clinton's Presidential run. Algore laundered Asian money through a Buddhist temple in California. Baraq Obama actually held fundraisers in Europe. And Hilary Clinton accepted huge foreign donations through the Clinton Foundation that were later funneled into her campaign.

Almost half of Obama's campaign cash in 2008 came in from outside the US in amounts just below reporting requirments. Can you say Iran? I know you can!

Beatoff also had to give back the money he had on insider trading while in the US congress. Corrupt to the core.

I didn't know that.
In a previous case, Rep. Beto O'Rourke, D-Texas, acknowledged in November 2013 - 11 months after he was elected - that he accepted IPO investments offered by his stock broker. O'Rourke said he was not familiar with the rules. The ethics committee closed the case after O'Rourke acknowledged he may have violated the law and followed the committee's advice to sell his remaining shares. He surrendered his $7,136 profit to the U.S. Treasury.
