New Jersey governor Chris Christie was reportedly enraged he didn't earn the VP spot, according to a top Trump campaign official.
While minding my own business at the Starbucks inside the Westin hotel this morning, I saw a man engage Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort in conversation about the VP selection process. The man, whom I couldn't identify, suggested that Pence was a smart pick and Gingrich would've been a disaster.
"Christie was livid, right?" the man said at one point. "Yeah," Manafort replied.
Christie has made no secret that he was disappointed he wasn't chosen to be Donald Trump's running mate. " don't like coming in second. Ever," Christie said Thursday. But the conversation overheard by THE WEEKLY STANDARD Sunday suggests Christie's feelings were far more intense than mere disappointment.

"I sold my soul to the Orange Buffoon, and all I got was this lousy t-shirt!"

"I sold my soul to the Orange Buffoon, and all I got was this lousy t-shirt!"
I don't even think he got a T-shirt, they don't make that size :chairbang:
-
Add Chris Christie to the growing list of people who need to sit down and STFU...
:smokin:
-
I don't even think he got a T-shirt, they don't make that size :chairbang:
He could have sown 4 or 5 together...
-
"I sold my soul to the Orange Buffoon, and all I got was this lousy t-shirt!"
And a bottle of Minty Fresh Scope.
-
I foresee Fatty Arbuckle stabbing Trump in the back..
-
A campaign that just cannot say "No Comment"

And a bottle of Minty Fresh Scope.

I am a little leery of articles based on private overheard conversations. Not the best or ethical journalistic tactics.....
-
Christie: Trumpie, why don't you call me anymore?
Christie got Trumpled.
-
He could have sown 4 or 5 together...
I think they need the Big Tent somewhere else.
It must be pretty raw to be dumped by Obie after Sandy, and then end up in the Trumpster after all that >ahem< being a real close follower...
Maybe he can yuk it up with the dusty trophies.
-
Yo, donut boy. Political fornication is just an empty relationship.
-
Well, one more politician who sacrificed his career for the illusion of power.
-
Suck it up buttercup! You supported the phony and got what you wanted. Now maybe, just maybe, if you still say nice things about Mr. Orange, he might just let you clean one of his gold plated toilets in the Trump Tower.
-
Well, one more politician who sacrificed his career for the illusion of power.
Yes because he has been ignoring his job for Trump. They want him to resign.

Not to worry. Christie can now become a full-fledged DEM!

Doubtful, as the Dems are going to milk Trump's 2016 GOP Presidential run for decades. Letting Christie into the party would kill that opportunity.
