Rifle-Armed Robot Dogs Now Being Tested By Marine Special Operators
MARSOC is using robotic dogs equipped with remote weapon stations to detect targets automatically before being given approval to fire.

The United States Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) looks to be the first organization within the U.S. military to be using rifle-wielding "robot dogs." Other armed robotic K-9s have been explored by the U.S. military and shown off by foreign countries, in the recent past.

Eric Shell, head of business development at Onyx Industries which supplied the gun system for the dogs, confirmed to TWZ on the floor of SOF Week that they are in use with MARSOC. Shell noted that MARSOC has two robot dogs fitted with gun systems based on Onyx's SENTRY remote weapon system (RWS) — one in 7.62x39mm caliber, and another in 6.5mm Creedmoor caliber. It's unclear precisely how many other robotic dogs MARSOC may have at present, however, it appears likely that the two equipped with SENTRY are being tested by the command.

Video footage released by Onyx Industries showing one of MARSOC's robot dogs can be seen here.

According to Shell, MARSOC's four-legged friends are "doing tunnel work, as well as perimeter security," but he could not specify where precisely.

The underlying robot dog doing this tunnel work for MARSOC is Ghost Robotics' Vision 60 quadrupedal unmanned ground vehicle, or Q-UGV, Shell said.

I'm not certain a "crash program" for jets is the best wording.

Super Hornets Now Flying With Nine Air-To-Air Missiles To Counter Houthi Drones
Thanks to a recent upgrade, five AIM-120s, four AIM-9Xs and an ATFLIR pod offer considerable ‘magazine depth’ for tackling Houthi drones.

After a crash program to outfit them with additional missile capacity to shoot down Houthi drones, U.S. Navy F/A-18E/F Super Hornets are now flying patrols armed with a load-out of nine air-to-air missiles, which includes four AIM-9X Sidewinders.

TWZ was first to break the news that the Navy had certified its F/A-18E/F Super Hornets, as well as EA-18G Growlers, to carry AIM-9X Sidewinder short-range air-to-air missiles on their outer underwing stations and we saw the first evidence of them doing so not long after.

Now, new photos published by the Navy showing F/A-18E Super Hornets from Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 83, the “Rampagers,” and from VFA-105, the “Gunslingers,” launching from the flight deck of the Nimitz class aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (aka IKE). The jets in question carry a live armament of five AIM-120 AMRAAMs and four AIM-9X Sidewinders air-to-air missiles, as well as an AN/ASQ-228 Advanced Targeting Forward-Looking Infrared (ATFLIR) targeting pod and a centerline 480-gallon fuel tank. They were photographed during flight operations in the Red Sea on April 19-20.

this morning arrested 31 illegal immigrants for criminal trespass in Maverick County as part of #OperationLoneStar (OLS).
These arrests stem from an increase in attempted unlawful border crossings between the ports of entry in the Normandy area.

The group of illegal immigrants included 20 females and 11 males from Ecuador, Nicaragua, Honduras, the Dominican Republic, Colombia and Cuba. All 31 were transported to the Val Verde Processing Center and face criminal trespass charges.

🚨 Fresno County, CA: In January, 5 men were arrested for either Rape or Acting in Concert with Another to Commit Rape.

They were booked over a 5 hour period and 4 have the same last name.

They all have immigration detainers.

I will try to find more about this incident.
