House Minority Whip Steve Scalise, the second-highest ranking House Republican, threw his support behind Rep. Elise Stefanik as the successor for Rep. Liz Cheney.
Scalise joins a growing group of Republicans looking to remove Cheney from the party's conference chair position amid her feud with former President Donald Trump.
“House Republicans need to be solely focused on taking back the House in 2022 and fighting against Speaker Pelosi and President Biden’s radical socialist agenda, and Elise Stefanik is strongly committed to doing that, which is why Whip Scalise has pledged to support her for Conference Chair,” Lauren Fine, Scalise’s spokeswoman, told the Washington Examiner on Wednesday.

Scalise is wrong.
The House and Senate Republicans need to focus solely on purging the RINOs from their midst, or winning the numerical majorities in either chamber means nothing.

How to stop excessive government spending:
Step One: Get Rodents out of government. Not just elected office, but the bureaucracy.
Step Two: Get the RINOs out of government. Not just elected office, but the bureaucracy.
Step Three: Limit government positions, elected and bureaucratic, only to Americans. Note that no Rodent or RINO is an American.
Trump was more American than most people in the country.

Cheney is a RINO, and the worst kind of Republican. She is very divisive, and I trust the folks in Wyoming send her packing with the next election. The family name Cheney carries the same weight as the name Bush, hopefully NOTHING!!!!!!!
Every day with struggle through life with Biden, it becomes overwhelmingly apparent to the dead from the neck up folks that voted for him that Trump was a leader, and Biden is a genuine clown.

Scalise and McCarthy both like Stefanik, so I guess it's back to the drawing board. If both these cretins like somebody, then there's a hidden game afoot that we are not part of. A deal has been made to ensure the same old, same old.
I like her and all, but there's something wrong with the choice of her to replace Cheney.
