Hank Williams died when he was 29 years old.  He would be 90 today, I believe.

Mind one more from Hank? More than any other song he recorded, and wrote, captures better his inner soul. Like Rapunzel, however, I Love his music. and am deeply saddened that he wasted the rare gift of music that he had; but those inner demons proved too powerful it seems.

Whatever it was in his soul that drove him to drink to the degree he drank is what came through in his music, that soulful sound that makes you want to listen and breaks your heart at the same time.

Hank III has always been kind of shy about following in his grandfather's footsteps; he's always been much more of a straight hard-rock musician. Yet he does a great job when he does do country.
