I've become such a cynic, it makes me wonder if he was a member of a rival gang.

If it becomes evident that isn't the case then I apologize. In either case, very sad situation.

I'm no lawyer either...but that is what I kind of expect. Surely there are people on that jury that can discern between a smear job and whatever the crime he  is accused of.

Black guys getting medical no-shaving waivers is pretty common.  I guess they can tend to get a lot of ingrown hairs when they shave.   However, there also are some products that let them shave without razors, and I know plenty of black guys who used them.

I honestly don't see how you can hold Garland in contempt when there is a claim of executive privilege asserted by Biden.  If a court had already rejected that claim, then sure.  But when it hasn't yet been adjudicated, then no.
