Collectors will pay a premium for unique coins or rare bank notes. So, if you’ve got any $1 dollar bills lying around, you may want to examine them closely before spending them as they could be worth thousands.

Ordinarily, dollar bills each have their own individual serial numbers. However, in 2014, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing made a rare printing error that resulted in millions of $1 bills with duplicate serial numbers entering into circulation, according to PMG, the world’s largest third-party paper money grading service.

Although these special pairs of $1 bills with matching serial numbers were initially printed in Washington, D.C., and Forth Worth, Texas, they could be anywhere in the world after a little more than 10 years in circulation.

It’s important to note that the misprint doesn’t make these $1 bills unusable, and they’re probably not worth more than a dollar on their own. However, if you manage to find a matching pair, you could earn thousands from collectors.

A pair of $1 bills with duplicated serial numbers sold for $2,340 at an auction held by Stack’s Bowers in March. Another pair sold for $7,200 at a Stack’s Bowers auction in 2021.

🚨#BREAKING: A Mass casualty event has been declared at a truck stop shell gas station with up to 150 people trapped with the roof collapsed

📌#ValleyView | #Texas

Currently, emergency crews have just declared a mass casualty event after a large, violent tornado passed through Interstate 35 in Valley View, Texas as Police scanners are reporting that at least 150 people are trapped inside a shell truck stop gas station with a collapsed roof. Multiple injuries are being reported, and there is major damage, with numerous semi-trucks along with other vehicles being flipped over. Power lines are down, and debris is scattered across the highway, making rescue efforts challenging. Emergency services from neighboring towns are being dispatched to assist. This situation is still developing, and residents are advised to stay indoors and avoid the affected area.

Community leaders are now questioning the wisdom of building new battery facilities in their areas.

We have covered a wide range of stories related to lithium battery fires over the years: In ships, those used in electric bikes, and water-drenched battery fires that occur after hurricanes and floods.

There are many challenges associated with fighting lithium/lithium-ion battery fires. The lithium is water reactive, yet water is often the only fire-fighting option in large enough quantities to fight the blaze. The materials burns at very high temperatures and is prone to re-igniting, which is why it took the fire fighters in Texas 30,000 gallons of water and four hours to extinguish a blaze.

These are facts that have been repressed by climate change activists and their media minions. However, sometimes the fires are just too big to ignore . . . like the one that just occurred in a San Diego area warehouse that smouldered for nearly a week.

The blaze has been a frustrating one for firefighters, given that lithium-ion batteries can sometimes overheat and trigger what’s called “thermal runaway” — a chain reaction in which the condition spreads from one battery to another, especially when they are stacked inside a battery storage facility.

The fire was first reported last Wednesday afternoon. By Thursday, fire officials thought the blaze had been largely extinguished but some of the batteries reignited on Friday evening and continued to flare through the weekend.

About 40 firefighters have kept a close eye on the batteries, monitoring them for excessive heat and drenching the site when puffs of smoke appear.

“We’re monitoring and spraying water when necessary,” said Cornette, who said a standpipe from the building’s sprinkler system poured 350 gallons of water per minute on the site at the height of the fire.

But it was you who posted that it’s the economy as the reason to vote for Trump, did you not? Its  right  above my response to you in case you forgot

You even bolded it and enlarged it for emphasis. And so when I pointed out the folly with facts and his record on why thinking Trump will improve that, suddenly you don’t want to talk about it

"Trump" has nothing to do with my post.

It has everything to do with the fact voters will NOT show up to vote for more of the same.

Thank you for the information/opinion @LMAO

The entire point of the thread isn't about the cause of the deficits.

It's about who the common vote will NOT accept more of the same rising costs of soup to nuts bullshit we've been living with since 2021.

And trillion dollar plus deficits and reckless monetary policy absolutely are connected to the costs of everything going up. If that is as big of a concern for you as you claim, then yes, this thread is about the debt and deficits.

It’s the debt and the size of government that’s the problem. That’s the biggest threat to the economy.

Trump helped massively pile that on, even before the pandemic, and wants to do even more if re elected.  From an economic and fiscal standpoint, he’s more similar to Biden and Obama. The facts and history back it. For example, more jobs were created  in Obama’s  last three years than Trump’s first three years. And despite his promise, not one year during the Trump presidency did we hit GDP of 3% or greater. And all of that, despite trillions of more debt added. And his first trade war caused harm to the economy and he wants another and more damaging one should he win

There’s the Trump record and reality and then there’s the Trump that his supporters create in their minds. You want to bring the Trump/Biden  inflation rate down to a tolerable rate? Stop the trillion dollar deficits and the printing required to finance them. Trump wants a weaker dollar and he wants lower interest rates. Both would punish consumers and savers, especially in an inflationary economy

This is Bernie Sanders type trade, fiscal, and monetary policies. I wouldn’t vote for Sanders because of that. And as long as Trump adopts and runs on Sander lite policies, my same rule applies

The Bronx and Libertarians are all in the same week! We are building an unstoppable coalition.  Who’s next?

Look, he is not wrong. Libertarians are a wild breed, but they should really think about being realistic this time around.

Just watched the whole thing. Thought it was a masterclass in political give and take.

One thing is for certain, Biden could never handle that much adversity when speaking to anyone.
