UK Parliament overwhelmingly rejects May's Brexit deal
By JILL LAWLESS, DANICA KIRKA and GREGORY KATZ, Associated Press

LONDON (AP) — British lawmakers on Tuesday overwhelmingly rejected Prime Minister Theresa May's divorce deal with the European Union, plunging the Brexit process into chaos.

The 432-202 vote in the House of Commons was widely expected but still devastating for May, whose fragile leadership is now under siege.

Lawmakers finally got their chance to say yes or no to May's deal after more than two years of political upheaval — and said no. It was the biggest defeat for a government in the House of Commons in more than a century.

History in the making. I wouldn’t be surprised if May looses her MP seat over this.

May is useless.

Not so....she managed to delay Brexit for several 2.5 years.  She is very useful to those for whom she works.

Okay I'm confused.  Someone splain to me this deal.  May doesn't want to exit the EU even though the people voted to exit the EU.   This vote is more affirmation that the House of Commons pretty much told May to shove it.

The people voted to get out of the EU but May's deal was an exit in name only.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, debate will begin on a possible vote of "No Confidence" in May's government.  I read about this at the BBC website.  If "no confidence" passes, a general election for a Prime Minister would be held after 25 days passes, can't be before 25 days.

How about this: I have a picture of Thatcher standing beside me. Remember since son has lived there so many years, I was there a number of times.  The relationship of Reagan and Thatcher was one of mutual admiration.  That was back when we had a dignified President who was respected by other countries.

Good grief women.  Post that picture of you and Ronie so I can make a meme.
