Land commissioner says "doctored" audit critical of his agency's management of the Alamo is under investigation
George P. Bush, whose agency took over running the iconic Texas landmark from the Daughters of the Republic of Texas in 2015, says a "doctored" audit led to the investigation — but won't say how it was doctored.

Land Commissioner George P. Bush said Friday that a draft audit critical of his agency’s oversight of the Alamo had been “doctored†and is now the subject of a law enforcement investigation.
Citing an ongoing probe, neither Bush nor his aides offered details about how the audit of Alamo Complex Management — prepared by his agency’s own internal audit staff — was changed or who changed it.
“I can’t really comment on the document. I cannot disclose, but we do have evidence that it was a doctored memo,†Bush told reporters after giving a speech to a conservative group. “With respect to internal auditing, that’s a good business practice, that’s what commissioners should do is to constantly find ways to improve.â€

If the name Bush appears anywhere in the news, I am immediately skeptical of what is happening.
Not due to attempted malice by them, but by sheer incompetence and naivete.

Sound like this is a chance for the "Mexican JEB" to position himself for a run for Governor. THIS is WHY his family used their influence to get him the job he has now.
Does he still have the blonde trophy wife his family bought him,or has he now divorced her and gotten a more PC "brown" wife?

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Employees of a disaster recovery accounting firm donated almost $30,000 to Texas Land Commissioner George P. Bush's re-election campaign days after his agency signed a nearly $13.5 million contract with the company to help manage the state's Hurricane Harvey response.
Bush's office is overseeing the housing rebuild post-Harvey and agreed to the contract in October with Horne LLP. Three days later, 34 Horne officials collectively donated $27,500.

I'm positive that is the driving force for Babs,Laura,and JEB's Mexican wife that hooked them up with the Mexican drug cartel,but Baby Brudder Neil was divorced by his wife,and I don't think she has been replaced yet. Isn't he living in China now,and taking over the job once filled by now dead Uncle Prescott Bush? Not that he doesn't have handlers there to do his thinking,but he's the nominal head of the Chinese-American Chamber of Commerce the last I heard. Neil,"I doan no nuttin bout no banking",Bush supposedly handling billion dollar deals. Yeah,right.
