Interesting.  Is this one of those 'the struck dog howls loudest'?

Oh hell no - She has the same problem western states do. Crown trumps province, and that was crown land management and response. The province has no jurisdiction.

Just like the states don't have jurisdiction on federal lands.

Never happen. More Chinese fear-mongering. They would lose huge numbers of troops in any attempt. There are no social services to care for the families of the dead, who, having their sole source of income killed, would rise up, endangering the rule of the CCP. The CCP's number one rule is to do nothing to endanger its existence.

The CCP barely got away with hiding the numbers of COVID dead, with locking people in their homes, with refusing to open the building, even when it was on fire. Any invasion would recreate all of the enmity that the people felt and demonstrated against once again but with renewed grief and anger at the CCP.

The Democrats are now up in arms at CBS alleging that Trump had extorted CBS and Skydance into firing Colbert. The word "bribery" is getting tossed around. There's just one problem with that: the Democrats themselves loved bribery when CBS was paying Andrew Cuomo's campaign account in exchange for custom-designed tax credits to keep The Late Show in New York.

Second, late-night TV is a dying, bloated format and time slot. Advertisers have been running away from the time slot for several years now; overall, ad money is down by half in just seven years. These shows have to maintaining a huge theater, the host, announcer, house band, production and writing staff (all union), and put out content five days a week whether the news cycle warrants it or not. It's no surprise that the one sustainable program, Fox News's Gutfeld!, is basically him and a few other regulars shooting the bull in front of a small studio audience.

You're not going to be able to pull off Johnny Carson style production without Johnny Carson level viewership, and the days of that are OVER and have been for years. People can watch DVR, stuff on Netflix, or they can just go to sleep... and let's face it, most late-night TV ages poorly. That's not so much true with the older stuff. You can watch Carson reruns, or the early work of David Letterman, today and it's still engaging, funny television. I wish more of the repertoire of Steve Allen and Jack Paar were still available.

Today's hosts don't give any reason for people to watch them. Jimmy Fallon is a lame, bloated nightmare full of stale routines; if it were not for the fact that it's The Tonight Show, the holy grail of late-night talk, and not for Lorne Michaels's stubbornly forcing Fallon upon the rest of the country, he'd've been the first to go.

The future of late-night TV is bleak. It's going to need smaller, more intimate formats.

Try bannock or indian frybread sometime... SO crazy good! Superb as a pulled pork or beef or chicken taco made with fresh pico

Or if you really want to go crazy, make a frybread and load it up with pizza fixins and pass it under the broiler for a minute or two...

You'll never go back.

How to Cook Fried Bread

Cook the fried meal that accompanies the bread (optional). Fried bread is almost always eaten with one or more other fried foods, as part of an English breakfast. This often includes eggs, English bacon, sausage, sliced tomatoes, mushrooms, and baked beans. Fry them all in the same pan before you start your bread.

If cooking all of the above, start the sausages first, the mushrooms a couple minutes later, then the other ingredients a few minutes later. Finish with the fried eggs.

Real fried bred is not a slice of bread fried. Trust the English to screw it up.

Fried bread is bread dough rolled flat, cut into chunks or squares, then fried in oil until it begins to rise. Served with lots of butter, eggs, etc.

New Evidence of Obama Administration Conspiracy to Subvert President Trump’s 2016 Victory and Presidency

WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Friday, Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard revealed overwhelming evidence that demonstrates how, after President Trump won the 2016 election against Hillary Clinton, President Obama and his national security cabinet members manufactured and politicized intelligence to lay the groundwork for what was essentially a years-long coup against President Trump.

In the months leading up to the November 2016 election, the Intelligence Community (IC) consistently assessed that Russia is “probably not trying … to influence the election by using cyber means.”
On December 7, 2016, after the election, talking points were prepared for DNI James Clapper stating, “Foreign adversaries did not use cyberattacks on election infrastructure to alter the US Presidential election outcome.”
On December 9, 2016, President Obama’s White House gathered top National Security Council Principals for a meeting that included James Clapper, John Brennan, Susan Rice, John Kerry, Loretta Lynch, Andrew McCabe and others, to discuss Russia.
After the meeting, DNI Clapper’s Executive Assistant sent an email to IC leaders tasking them with creating a new IC assessment “per the President’s request” that details the “tools Moscow used and actions it took to influence the 2016 election.” It went on to say, “ODNI will lead this effort with participation from CIA, FBI, NSA, and DHS.”
Obama officials leaked false statements to media outlets, including The Washington Post, claiming, “Russia has attempted through cyber means to interfere in, if not actively influence, the outcome of an election.”
On January 6, 2017, a new Intelligence Community Assessment was released that directly contradicted the IC assessments that were made throughout the previous six months.

After months of investigation into this matter, the facts reveal this new assessment was based on information that was known by those involved to be manufactured i.e. the Steele Dossier or deemed as not credible. This was politicized intelligence that was used as the basis for countless smears seeking to delegitimize President Trump’s victory, the years-long Mueller investigation, two Congressional impeachments, high level officials being investigated, arrested, and thrown in jail, heightened US-Russia tensions, and more.

Epstein Files / Re: Jeffrey Epstein Hoax

@roamer_1

I was speaking specifically of Donald J. Trump not being involved...not being a victim of Epstein escapades.

If he were, it wouldn't have stayed quiet for the past 4 years.

It hasn't been quiet. It's already known that he took the plane. And it wouldn't change my opinion of him very much to find out he'd attended a black tie suaree at Epstein's NYC mansion a time or two. He liked that playboy image in his younger days.

But neither would it change yours... The same angelic figurehead that carried on an international casino business who surely never consorted with escort services or mob connections would never have a fling at an Epstein establishment. Yeah, right.  *****rollingeyes*****
