Justice Juan Merchan said he has no idea why Trump attorney Susan Necheles didn't object during Stormy Daniels' testimony about Donald Trump not using a condom during their alleged sex affair.
“I agree – it shouldn’t have come out… but for the life of me, I don’t know why Ms. Necheles didn’t object," the judge said.
He later added, “Why on earth she wouldn’t object to the mention of a condom, I don’t understand.”

Judge denies Trump's bid for mistrial, says Don's lawyers opened the door to salacious testimony
Trump's bid for a mistrial over Stormy Daniels' salacious testimony was denied.
Judge Merchan ruled that Trump's attorneys had opened the door to "corroborate" her account of the tryst after they called her a liar in their opening statement and at other points in the trial.
"Your denial puts the jury in a position of having to choose who to believe in, Donald Trump who denies the encounter, or Stormy Daniels" who claims that it happened, the judge said.
Trump then stood up and left the room. The trial will resume at 9:30 a.m. Friday.

An agitated Donald Trump flicked attorney Todd Blanche as Manhattan prosecutor Joshua Steinglass ripped into the defense for not asking more about the alleged sexual encounter with Stormy Daniels during their cross-examination.
Blanche appeared to motion to Trump to control himself after flicking his left elbow after Trump had a lively conversation with Emil Bove, another attorney.
Steinglass said Trump's side asked "eight questions" of mostly "yes and no" responses when pressing Daniels.
“We tried very hard to pull back the testimony and not have a fulsome description of the sexual act," Steinglass said.

I dunno...I see lots of the more modern westerns where the horses are fake shot. True Grit.

The Bible tells us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Pray that they arrive at some kind of peace. Please pray that this horrific terrorism stops and that they’re able to get their hostages back. Also pray that God places His hand of protection on the nation of Israel during this unprecedented war.

Former President Trump asked oil industry executives for $1 billion in campaign cash, according to someone with knowledge of the meeting.
Trump met with oil executives at Mar-A-Lago last month. His request for $1 billion for his campaign was previously reported by The Washington Post and The New York Times.
The Post reported that Trump said the donations would be a “deal” for oil executives because of the tax cuts and relaxed regulations he would implement, but the person who spoke with The Hill said the discussion was not framed as any sort of quid pro quo.
A second source, who was not in attendance but spoke to people who were, also confirmed Trump made the ask for donations. The source said Trump had previously chided oil executives about not opening up their pocketbooks enough for his campaign.
Trump campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt did not confirm or deny that Trump had requested $1 billion when asked.
“Joe Biden is controlled by environmental extremists who are trying to implement the most radical energy agenda in history and force Americans to purchase electric vehicles they can’t afford,” Leavitt said in a written statement.

« Last post by Maj. Bill Martin on Today at 08:56:22 pm »I don't think they had to... Any large movement of documents is going to be full of SNAFU. Whole boxes tossed around for moving... In the natural order of things, misfiled and misplaced documents happen all the time.
All they needed was a reason to go looking.
I do want to say that I've been involved in document productions where that didn't happen - where it was done correctly. But I've also seen ones that have screw ups at some level. The mistakes are usually found pretty quickly and corrected where possible, but it literally takes less than 30 seconds to pull a document from a box, not mark from where it was taken, and then be unsure of exactly where it should go.
That being said, a case of this importance should have had senior lawyers present and watching the whole thing constantly.

Quite frankly in this day and age with all the whackadoos out there it is good to see a family tied together; there is obvious love instead of rivalry between them, devotion to their family and father and in the case of Eric and Don Jr., I see loyalty to country as well. I find it refreshing.
What has Barron done to earn the responsibility that comes with being a delegate, including the selection of the VP?
I don't have anything against the kid, but he only just graduated high school.
