Why stop there Israel?  Why not also press the Trump administration to recognize Israel's sovereignty over the West Bank --- and all living there, too?

Right in Virginia wonders:
"Why stop there Israel?  Why not also press the Trump administration to recognize Israel's sovereignty over the West Bank --- and all living there, too?"

Hopefully, that recognition from the White House will come in Mr. Trump's second term.
Got to save the best for last, right...?  ;)

Syria used the Golan to shell and harass Israeli villages during the Six Day War and lost the territory in the conflict.  Syria overran the Golan in the 1973 Yom Kippur War, then found themselves in full retreat when an Israeli counteroffensive pushed to within 20 miles of Damascus.  As part of the cease fire agreement, Israel pulled back from Syria and gave them 5% of the Golan.  Now, the two time sore losers want the Golan back?  TFB.
