Trump Calls Wall 'Moral' Because Vatican Has One. So What's Its History?
By Laura Geggel, Senior Writer | January 3, 2019 10:50am ET
Part of the wall that surrounds Vatican City.
Any border wall between the United States and Mexico can't be immoral, President Trump said at a Cabinet meeting yesterday (Jan. 2), because the Vatican has one, too.
"When they say the wall’s immoral, well then you got to do something about the Vatican, because the Vatican has the biggest wall of them all," Trump said, according to The Hill.
Trump made similar comments about the Vatican's wall in 2016, prompting a flurry of comments from historians explaining that while Trump's wall would, in theory, keep out migrants, the Vatican's walls were designed for entirely different purposes. [Photos: Ruins of Mysterious Wall Found in Jordan]

How many Muslims has the Pope decided can live inside the walls, today?
-
Does Trump practice these brainless retorts that Wall's have morality?
Imperial Rome didn't have Walls (excepting Hadrian's in Britannia) as
they had no need of them; but why?
Because they told the world, one time,"Hate as long as you fear" and those
who ignored this, such as Carthage and assorted Barbarian Tribes, paid the price.
Any Wall represents an attitude and THAT is what is critical.
But our political schmucks have absolutely no understanding of this reality.

Considering what Trump actually said, I am forced to conclude that your complaint is a non sequitur, especially as seen in your opening sentence.
-
How about someone stop comparing what we should be doing to what others have or have not done and just do what is best for our country.

Trump has been yapping for 70 years and I conclude he has yet to make sense.
As our opinions are our own, you are free to conclude otherwise. Best of luck!
