I’m too lazy to research it, but has any sitting president in modern history lost  re-election with the stock market doing so well?

A surprising shift is taking place within the American Jewish community in the increasingly heated political landscape of 2024. As protests escalate on college campuses and dissatisfaction with President Joe Biden’s handling of Israeli issues grows, the Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) has launched an unprecedented fundraising effort.

The initiative marks the largest in the RJC’s history, with a minimum target of $5 million, and is set to significantly boost former President Donald Trump’s presidential campaign according to Fox News. The RJC is a prominent grassroots organization representing Jewish Republicans across the United States. The group’s national political director, Sam Markstein, highlighted the commitment, stating that the effort will be “the RJC’s largest effort ever to mobilize support in the Jewish community for President Trump.”

If Biden had taken the tens of billions of dollars he handed over to the State Department (in the name of Ukraine) and spent it all on $100 drones instead, this war would be over.

IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler have filed a motion to intervene in Hunter Biden's lawsuit against their agency in which he alleged the whistleblowers unlawfully disclosed his personal tax information.

"They filed [the motion] so they can do what the IRS has failed to: make clear that their protected disclosures were legal, pursuant to whistleblower protection laws, and critical to safeguarding the principle of equal treatment under the law regardless of party or familial relationship," Tristan Leavitt of Empower Oversight, who represents Shapley, posted to X.

According to Empower Oversight, Hunter Biden's suit wrongfully alleges that the whistleblowers "violated tax secrecy and federal privacy statutes."

Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler originally brought concerns to the House Ways and Means Committee that the Justice Department had provided preferential treatment to Biden during the probe into his alleged tax violations, including by blocking search warrants and limiting the investigators’ pursuit of information related to then-candidate Joe Biden, Hunter Biden's father.

Because the whistleblowers' disclosures to the House committee are protected by law, specifically under section 6103 of the Internal Revenue Code, Shapley and Ziegler's legal teams believe the IRS failure to call for the dismissal of the lawsuit could indicate the agency is participating in an effort to retaliate against them.

That's certainly true.  But, it's not my intent here to hijack this thread...was merely responding to a bogus charge against me.
