Nah. I'd have to see the context, but her relating of the story as told second hand... it's just a matter of course on a farm or ranch - And she probably had no idea how foolish people would take the matter.

I sure didn't see it coming.

She's a farm girl used to having to deal with the realities of life.  All this public hand wringing is nothing but theater.

I thought Michael Cohen 'was going to kill himself' a month after 2016 election: Stormy Daniels' attorney
By Ben Kochman

Stormy Daniels' lawyer Keith Davidson said later that Michael Cohen had talked with him from time to time about potentially being President Donald Trump’s chief of staff or his attorney general.

Cohen was “depressed” and “despondent” on the December 2016 call, Davidson testified.

“I thought he was going to kill himself,” Davidson recalled when asked again about the call during cross-examination by Trump lawyer Emil Bove.

Lawyer for Stormy Daniels denies that payment from Cohen was 'hush money'

Keith Davidson, lawyer for adult film actress Stormy Daniels, said in court Thursday that the $130,000 payment to Daniels was not “hush money,” but a “consideration” payment.

Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Johsua Steinglass pressed Davidson on the witness stand about Daniels’ statement in January 2018, which Davidson prepared for his client, that denied any relationship with Trump and said that her only interaction with Trump was “a few public appearances and nothing more.”

“Rumors that I have received hush money from Donald Trump are completely false,” the statement says.“I don’t believe that Stormy ever alleged that any interaction with Trump was ‘romantic,‘” Davidson testified Thursday. But it is his understanding that Daniels had a sexual encounter with Trump.

He also said the payment “wasn’t a payoff.”“It wasn’t a payoff. And it wasn’t hush money. It was consideration,” Davidson said. Davidson added that he would never use “hush money” to describe the money exchange.

He would only refer to it as “consideration.” “Consideration” is a contractual legal term for what someone gives in return for the promise to abide by a contract; in this case, money. The payment was labeled "legal fees" in Trump's accounting, which prosecutors allege amounted to fraud.

Steinglass asked about the truthfulness of the Daniels’ statement. Davidson replied, “I think it’s technically true.”

He continues that he doesn’t believe anyone alleged of a relationship between Daniels and Trump -- it was an interaction.Davidson said he believes a “relationship” to be an ongoing occurrence.

That it even has legs shows the weakness in the American population. Weak and without moral conviction.

Her dog caused a problem.
She did the morally responsible thing.

She put the vicious dog down.
She paid restitution to her neighbor.

Y'all find that appalling.

And then wonder why your streets are overflowing with rabid criminal leftist assholes.
Easy to find the cause:
They're your children.

Exclusive: ‘America First’ Trump Supporter Seeks to Unseat Florida Democrat Debbie Wasserman Schultz
Joshua Klein 2 May 2024

Former Republican congressional candidate Bryan E. Leib has officially entered the 2024 GOP primary in the Sunshine State’s 25th District, advocating for fresh leadership in Congress to uphold “common sense,” Judeo-Christian values, and Trump’s “America First” agenda; he is challenging long-serving Democrat Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News on Thursday, communications strategist Bryan E. Leib, a senior fellow at the Center for Fundamental Rights and a former Republican congressional candidate, announced his candidacy “because we don’t need more baby boomers serving in Congress,” he said.

“We need new blood, fresh ideas, and change agents in Congress that represent the next generation of Americans,” he stated, “not the K street lobbyists and special interest groups.”

According to Leib, like many Americans, he is “deeply troubled by the far left’s attempts to soil the very Judeo-Christian values that our nation was founded upon.”

“They tear down our statues, they burn down police stations, and they terrorize cities when they don’t get what they want,” the former executive director of CASEPAC — a political action committee focused on combating antisemitism in American politics — said, charging that the left is “on a warpath against religious freedom, our Constitution, common sense, and the traditional family unit of a father — a man — and a mother — a woman.”

Which party controls the Senate and the White House?

In truth the Democrats control the entire federal government presently. And that has been so for a very long time.

Heat shield issues threaten the timeline of NASA's Artemis moon exploration program.

NASA's moon program still has some work to do before it can put human boots back on the lunar surface.

The agency's Office of Inspector General (OIG) released a report on Wednesday (May 1) titled "NASA's Readiness for the Artemis 2 Crewed Mission to Lunar Orbit," which aims to determine how ready NASA is to launch its Artemis 2 moon mission, currently scheduled for late 2025.

The inspector general writes that the Artemis 1 test flight of the Orion spacecraft "revealed anomalies with the Orion heat shield, separation bolts, and power distribution that pose significant risks to the safety of the crew."

Resolution of these anomalies is among the most significant factors impacting NASA's readiness for Artemis 2, the report adds.

The report says NASA found over 100 areas on Orion's heat shield — where thermal material protects the spacecraft from the heat of reentry — had worn away "differently than expected" during the spacecraft's reentry to Earth's atmosphere.

...leaving mothers free to do the most important job of all...raising children, a formidable undertaking that included being everything from cook/baker to first responder (EMS), and teacher, besides. With mom doing all that, dads were free to be dads as well... at least on their weekends.

I can't help but realize how blessed I was as a kid, especially now that I am an adult.
