Electricity filled the room during the speech of Arizona GOP gubernatorial nominee Kari Lake, who energized the crowd with her fiery rhetoric. Her speech can be found below in a full live stream of today’s event by RSBN.
The former Fox 10 Phoenix reporter notably attacked the media, saying “the people are evil bastards,” after describing the harassment her family has experienced from mainstream news outlets since the beginning of her candidacy.
Lake also said that numerous political consultants have scolded her for talking about forced vaccines or masks, proudly telling the attendees, “I didn’t hire those losers!”

The gubernatorial candidate dissed at least some actors of the establishment GOP, announcing to the audience, “we drove a stake through the heart of the McCain machine.” . . .
I have been singing that tune while dancing around the Castle with my Missus, the moment the numbers came in that eliminated Robson mathematically! I've been working and praying for this for literally decades.
But this can only be a down payment, there remains much work to do to excise the cancer. You know how it goes, the dam's been breached and the water will now finish eroding it all away.
So far it's the big three races...Governor, Secretary of State and Attorney General.

If I were the head of the RNC, I would put out this press statement verbatim ...immedately!!!!!!
Notice to the NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, PBS, NPR, and other left leaning televison, print, and electronic news outlets....
The level of bias of reporting has become undeniable, and every interview and article has become a hit piece towards conservatives and the majority of the GOP. We have instructed our party members to no longer grant interviews, until said outlets show some semblence of idelological equity that used to be a hallmark of our press.
You and your ilk should take a page from the late Tim Russert. Russert no doubt leaned left, but also provided a level of respect parity, and fairness to his guests. A far cry from the " left wing hit pieces" disguised as jourmalism in this day in time.

She's been besieged by the McCainiacs since she first announced her run. I think she knows. And yes, McStain was always fighting conservatives with far more vigor than standing up to the Rats.

I still can't square Lake's support of Obama against her new persona. It reminds me of Flake putting on a good show early on turning out to be a con man.

Flake was a good rep, except he broke his promise to limit himself to 3 terms in the House. He pulled his 180 the moment he was declared the victor of the Senate race in 2012 when he joined Brother McStain's "gang of eight." The purpose of the eight was to ram immigration reform and amnesty through the Senate. They failed.
I detest ALL such "gangs" because they are designed to thwart the will of their constituents.

That's funny, because in the Primary I preferred anybody but Robson. I've freaking had it with the McCainiacs, of which she was a very big one.

She gets called that because she's been involved with the Establishment GOP since Reagan, and was a butt-buddy of John McCain, and that's how. One needs to observe and learn on your own because Politico will NEVER tell you that.
Find someone who has lived in AZ for 40 or more years, and listen to that person.

Most recent poll has Lake closing to within 2 points.
Hobb's commercials are pretty uninspiring (Youtube).
She just does not strike me as being very "in control".

It seems the GOP generally conceded the late summer to the DEMs. Here in Pennsylvania, we saw very little political advertising from Mastriano and Oz. Now they are both running ads, and it looks like the polls are narrowing as they are able to educate the public a bit better on where their opponents really are on the issues. Interestingly, Shapiro has been using the airwaves to paint Mastriano as an election-denying white supremacist all summer, with Mastriano with no media buys at all, and Mastriano is still within a couple of points of Shapiro.
I am guessing something similar is going on in Arizona. The Dems have more money to spend, so they got the opportunity to have the first word. The problem is they have nothing to sell except fear of the orange man.

Completely unnecessary. The public sees what they are. DeSantis, Lake and Trump are showing the way to deal with them. The GOP just needs to show our candidates how not to cower in the face of their bias, and turn it back to them at every turn.

I had some trouble finding funding numbers, but what I did find shows that Lake is low compared to Hobbs.
Lake is going to need cash for the finale.

I worry that the left is going to load up and go after the entire slate in some kind of mass media slander-fest at the last minute.
I have not been able to watch this one that closely.
When you have people like Clint Smith starting to cause doubt in people's minds, it may take away enough votes to cost her the victory.

Kari Lake's numbers have always been greater than Hobbs, and she's pulling away with the disastrous decision of Hobbs' to refuse to debate because Republicans are "mean." And everybody now knows she was successfully sued as a racist, costing the State of AZ over $2.5 Million.
Yes, Hobbs has more cash raised, but she's like Mark Kelly with almost all of it from out-of-state Democrat mega donors. Speaking of cash, The Bi-Laws of the AZ GOP and the 15 Counties prohibit any donations to Republican candidates prior to the August 2nd Primary. Now that prohibition is lifted and the Party itself can now contribute to Lake (and Masters), cash is starting to flow. My County Party is writing significant checks to people like Lake.
We are a HUGE fundraising County, bringing in a lot more than Maricopa or Pima Counties.
I think Lake and Masters will come out on top. I have a slew of AZ State Representatives and Senators I'm watching. Maybe I should post a new thread with the list? I can say who I am rooting for, but I cannot tell until November exactly why that is....

You come to me with $$$ in your pocket and tell me you need a poll that says x, y, and z. I will take your $$$ and deliver the goods. Believe it or not, that's EXACTLY how it works.

I am totally on board with not believing something.
While I won't argue polls, they have been pretty good (from my perspective) in giving trends.
But I get what you are saying.
There is a lot of stuff I don't believe either.....generally because of the source.
