Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton sued the Biden administration Tuesday, alleging that federal authorities are illegally declining to take custody of immigrants subject to deportation who are about to be released from Texas prisons.
The result, Paxton argued, leaves Texas in a bind — forced to release “criminal aliens†or continue holding them in custody at taxpayer expense.
“President Biden’s outright refusal to enforce the law is exacerbating an unprecedented border crisis,†Paxton said in a statement. “By failing to take custody of criminal aliens and giving no explanation for this reckless policy change, the Biden administration is demonstrating a blatant disregard for Texans’ and Americans’ safety.â€
Paxton filed the lawsuit on behalf of Texas and Louisiana in federal court in Victoria.

Abbot demands this and the Atty General, that. The Dems will use their power to remake this country by, among other things, letting in millions in they can. They don't care what some local complains about because they could be in power for a generation if things go the way they are going, they'll never be called into account for the criminality they're unleashing. You think they care about what's right?

Well, yeah, but so what? By the time this lawsuit winds its way through the courts the 2024 election will be in the past. The sad fact is that there are few, if any, ways to force LIEden to do any part of his job that he doesn't feel like doing.
