Pair Of Illegal Aliens Caught With $1 Million Worth Of Heroin In North Carolina

GREENVILLE, NC (WITN) – Police say a routine traffic stop netted them five kilos of heroin, worth more than $1 million on the street.

Greenville police arrested Juan Guzman-Gonzales, 44, and Magda Velasquez-Perez, 39, both of Maryland, on Sunday.

They’re accused of possessing and transporting heroin.

The seizure happened after their vehicle was stopped for a moving violation in the area of 10th Street and Brownlea Drive.
