Walmart unveils fleet of floor-mopping robots to replace human workers who keep complaining about wages

Saturday, December 08, 2018 by: Isabelle Z.

(Natural News) Retail giant Walmart has found an interesting, and not terribly surprising, response to the ongoing pressure to increase minimum wages by hiring a fleet of robots to sweep its floors and cut humans out of the equation entirely.

The company has just announced that it has enlisted a fleet of 360 “custodial” robots to autonomously clean its stores’ floors. Billed as a cross between motorized wheelchairs ice rink machines, the computer-vision robots were developed by Brain Corp. After being taught the stores’ layouts and best routes by humans, the robots will be off to sweep and scrub the floors on their own with the press of a button while customers shop around them. The robots are expected to be up and running in hundreds of Walmart stores by the end of January.

And what happens when the "pro worker/higher wages" customers start tripping over and falling because of the robots, thus resulting in an avalanche of negligence and violation of safety regs lawsuits against Walmart?

I bet the plan is to make all of the robots look like Obama, liberals wouldn't dare trip over them.

Lol!  Liberals aren't smart enough to think that one up though.  Plus... it would end up getting folks like me thrown out and banned from Walmart for ... um....  axedentally blowing up a floor-cleaner-robot...

or ten.   :smokin:

I would never blow one up, there would be too much fun to be had putting a dress and make up on it,  or other things.
