Tucker compares ‘demented’ Lori Lightfoot to ‘The Shining’: ‘She needs help’

Fox News host Tucker Carlson took Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot to the woodshed on Wednesday for focusing more on personal time, socialism, and Juneteenth than she does on the escalating violence gripping her city.
Carlson riffed on an iconic line from Stephen King’s movie “The Shining,” proclaiming “Here’s Lori!” during his show Wednesday. He wondered aloud just how long she can remain the mayor of America’s third-largest city as she melts down over memos and ignores violent crime in Chicago where three mass shootings took place in just over a week. He called her theatrics and demands “demented” and noted her actions are nothing short of woefully deficient in regards to leadership, labeling her “America’s worst mayor.”
“Since the death of George Floyd last May, Chicago’s mayor, Lori Lightfoot, has embraced every part of the equity and inclusion agenda,” he opened “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”
Carlson went on to elaborate on crime taking place in Chicago: “Lightfoot banned the police from chasing criminals, even in the case of some very serious offensives. And her D.A. refuses to prosecute many crimes. The results? Nearly 200 more people have been murdered this year than last. Many more dead people, hundreds. Yesterday, there was yet another mass killing in Chicago. ”

I've seen medical personnel in my career that have just given up due to burn out and the first noticeable thing about people like that is they don't care anymore
Lightfoot has become numb to the killings because she has given up caring due to burn out
