Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) on Tuesday took a swipe at former President Trump on Twitter after visiting her unwell grandmother in Puerto Rico and seeing the persisting effects of Hurricane Maria more than three years later.
"Just over a week ago, my abuela fell ill. I went to Puerto Rico to see her- my 1st time in a year+ bc of COVID,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote on Twitter.
“This is her home. Hurricane María relief hasn’t arrived. Trump blocked relief $ for PR. People are being forced to flee ancestral homes, & developers are taking them,” the New York congresswoman added, sharing photos of her grandmother’s home still bearing the damages caused by the 2017 hurricane.

The aid money and aid materiel did not reach the Puerto Ricans who needed it because...they're politicians are all Democrats. They pocketed the money and held up the aid to blame Trump for their crimes.
Also, and this is a craaaazy idea, I know, but the federal government should not be in the business of providing relief for predictable natural disasters. California should have a fund reserved solely for earthquake damage, Puerto Rico should have a fund reserved for blowhards like Maria and Alexandria.
And here's ANOTHER question.
If the Hoover With Nipples loves her grandmother so much, why hasn't she helped her fund the repairs on that home? She's let her wonderful abuela (who doesn't look anything like Hillary, I bet) live in a storm damaged house for three years to make a political statement? Because she cares so much?

Exactly. I have lived in a hurricane zone my entire life, and anyone with common sense knows, you have (1) insurance (2) enough monetary reserves to take care of what insurance doesn't cover.

“As you’ve heard, [AOC]’s abuela is living in a dilapidated home that was ravaged by Hurricane Maria,” Walsh posted on Twitter Friday. “AOC is unable to help her own grandma for whatever reason, so I have set up this Go Fund Me campaign to save her home. Please give if you can #HelpAbuela.”

Ditz just admitted that she hadn't been to see her grandmother in over a year.
Three and a half years less one year is two and a half years.
So she had two and a half years, KNOWING her grandmother's house was damaged, to help her grandmother fix the house or to move.
She did nothing.
For three and a half years, she did nothing to help her own grandmother.

That was my first thought. My second thought was if AOC feels so badly for her grandmother perhaps she should have her move in with her. I'm sure she'd enjoy the company and the better lifestyle!

Last week, AOC riled up her socialist followers on Twitter when she blamed President Trump for her grandmothers living conditions in Puerto Rico.
AOC put the blame on Trump’s shoulders even though the former bartender has done nothing personally to help her “Abuela”. AOC has one of the most upscale apartments in DC *and* she drives an expensive Tesla. Instead of “redistributing” her wealth to her grandmother, AOC decided to keep it all for herself.
Now, AOC’s aunt is speaking out, and she isn’t blaming Trump at all for her grandmothers living conditions. (Talk about a slap in the face!)
“It’s a problem here in Puerto Rico with the administration and the distribution of help. It is not a problem with Washington. We had the assistance and it didn’t get to the people,‘ AOC’s aunt told the Daily Mail.
This is in direct contradiction to what the 30-year old drama queen said last week. Turns out AOC was lying once again, like she always does!

That does seem likely. My guess is AOC had a staffer contact Gofundme and ask them to shut it down. These left coast tech firms are all infested with leftist idealogues who would be sympathetic to such a request.
