Thank you, California. Based on the legacy, and all the "lessons learned" of California's declaration of being a "sanctuary state" concerning immigration, Texas has been able to declare itself a "sanctuary state" for the Second Amendment. Just as California simply declared it would not assist or enable enforcement of federal immigration laws, on 24 May 2021, Texas made a similar declaration to not assist with or enable enforcement of federal gun laws. Thank you, California, for showing us the way!

The latest in FL is that there are 42 out of 67 counties, 3 cities, and 1 town that have adopted Second Amendment sanctuary (or other pro-Second Amendment) resolutions. :patriot: In 2013, all 67 sheriffs in Florida had signed a letter saying that they will not enforce laws that violate the Constitution or infringe on the rights of the people to own firearms.
