This is where the AZ GOP is really hurting.
The GOP needs a strong conservative candidate.
But they better have some good ideas too.
It's going to be a challenging fight.
There are those that speculate Ward will go for either spot. And that she is hoping to keep a pissed off electorate hot and bothered for two years in an effort to keep control of the party and secure the nomination.
Ward is good where she is.
I am not sure about her in other positions.
We need to look at who we have in congressional seats to see if there is any chance of one of them.
Andy Biggs would be O.K. if he'd calm down a little.
-
I don't know yet. It's not for Kelli Ward and she knows it.
Biggs probably not. I don't think Gosar is healthy.
I honestly don't know.

Can you stack shit as high as Ducey? If so AZ Rats will run it.

It always looks better from the Castle. We just got home from Phoenix. Time for a brew, or a Margarita.

And is this result of McCain's politics of personal destruction or is AZ just that bereft of good conservatives ?

That's a likely possibility. He destroyed a lot of budding conservatives. Hated the Tea Party. Just like Turtle. But Mcstain wasn't the only one.
I'll know more about the future of the Gov race as I talk to Kelli more in the coming months.

I don't know a lot about the state party in AZ yet.
The NM state GOP is not all that useful. I don't see them leading with discussions about future plans and developing candidates.
And we, in SE NM should be hearing more from them than anyone as this is where conservatives are the most concentrated.
People need a sense of organization and leadership.

I'll be doing what I can from my seat on the Executive Board in my small County. The best I can do is to serve as an example....

New Mexico?
That's a blue state now, unlikely to vote red again.
NM is the second state in the nation where whites now make up less than 50% of the population. Conservatives aren't likely to be winnin' there again. At least no office of importance.
That's what I see, and I'm stickin' to it...!
