My option not found. Unable to vote.
-
Asking if he will be removed from office is very different from asking if he will be impeached.
-
Where's the "Yes, because the Democrats are that stupid" choice?
-
I thought I had you Trumpers covered with the No, He's much smarrter that that option, where did I go wrong, @The Ghost ?

Exactly..most of the Dem idiots probably don't realize they need the Senate to convict... :silly:
-
The House will impeach him - just takes a majority vote.

Try again Buckwheat. You are slipping in the polls. We may have to call to impeach you in the "room".

You can have my Poll Room Moderator status when you pry it from my cold dead hands @The Ghost wink777
*Actually, it's been on life support since you left her last time, months ago, on that cold winter night.

I remember when the dearly departed Wingnut Modded it. It rocked.
-
Yes, Congress will impeach Trump... Right after he has a few traitors executed. happy77
-
I think the dems are so desperate to avoid some things coming out, they are willing to do almost anything, so yes, I think they just might impeach.
-

I agree @The Ghost

I agree @The Ghost

Yes he will be impeached but he's going to take a boat load of people down with him. :pop41:
-
My answer is no, but not due to Trump being smart. There are some democraps not willing to commit political suicide and I don't think they will get a majority to impeach. If they do, he won't be removed.

Oh, I think he'll be impeached but not removed.

And there are Republicans ready to vote for it. If this Ukraine thing collapses there will probably not be enough votes, but if it can be kept alive long enough there will be.

The House will vote for impeachment then of course it goes to the Senate. Justice Roberts acts as the 'jury' then the Senate votes. It only takes 2/3. Personally, I'm not so sure that Trump has the safety net of the Senate. Not with so many RINO's.

I kind of liked the nick Wingnut......The Ghost....well.....not as well.....
-
Whatever the Dems can do to hurt this country they will do it.
-
I'm thinking maybe we need a poll on whether the Democrats will ever stop talking about impeaching Trump.
a. No
b. Not a chance
c. Never
d. You've got to be joking
e. All of the above
Meh, never mind.
-
Yes, the House will vote to impeach Trump. I believe it will end there, but the fact remains that he is hated by many Republicans. Wasn't it something like 11 Republicans voted against his declaration of an emergency on the border?
Mitt Romney is nothing but trouble, and I believe he intends to run against Trump, and he will not let up on his being impeached.
There are too many Obama holdovers, and why the f*&^ are there CIA operatives working to support the damn White House? Trump was a fool not to purge the whole bloody lot!!! He is not as smart as some think in my humble opinion.

@jafo2010
I agree. The only question is "Will he campaign on the slogan,"MY family came here from Mexico!"
-
No. But not because he's a genius or anything.
Impeachment is a no-win scenario.
- If they vote to impeach, the Senate will most likely vote against removing him from office, and it doesn't look so good politically.
- If, by chance, the Senate does vote to take him out of office, Mike Pence becomes President.
- If they try to end-around by taking out Trump AND Pence even though there's negligible evidence Pence was involved in anything, it'll look like a partisan coup and an attack on Christianity. I would think that's political suicide.
All of this also in addition to one crucial fact: even if they vote Trump out of office, he could still win in 2020 and end up back even though he was thrown out.

Interesting. I did not know a POTUS removed was still eligible. Like a convicted felon is ineligible for holding a public office.

That depends on the State laws. I don't see anything in the Constitution about a "Dracula clause," were somebody is prohibited from holding office again. If Trump were to be removed, he can still run in 2020, for one term.
