Following a court order, authorities seized an RV at the New Mexico compound where five adults are believed to have been abusing 11 children and training them for school shootings....

Not sure what they mean, there's very little information in the story, but hopefully can find more.

The article doesn't really say it was destroyed like what the title says, it says federal authorities seized the RV.
I suspect they took everything to a secure location for analysis.

Here is another story that says 'destroyed' in the title.

They say it was 'razed to the ground' but other articles are saying the authorities seized the RV and other items from the property. I suspect this is part of clearing it out after the feds got out what they need.
I don't know what the SOP here would be. If they have all the evidence pulled out and there is nothing else to gather there, why would they leave it?

Yeah, I don't know. The original story came from NBC and they were implying that this was irregular and newsworthy.

These days a 'Dog bites man' story is made to sound like the end of the world.

Only if it involves a Pit Bull and it's posted on TOS.
