Yeah, because the labor riots and red scares of the late 1800s and early 1900s were such a more economically successful period of time.

So labor riots and red scares ended in 1933?

14 months old is still considered a puppy. I bet they gave that dog zero training since they got it.

Idiot woman. I wanted her for President at one time.

Yes, 14 months is still a pup and was shot for killing the neighbor's chickens.  Not something that I would do, and a dog around chickens, especially a hunting dog is going to go after them.  I have a dog and if he wasn't contained he'd go after smaller dogs, rabbits, squirrels, birds, etc. With people, he's very loving, loyal and obedient. It is the nature of many dogs and with mine, it is the breeds of the dog; Akita, Whippet, Shepherd and Boxer. The Akita and Whippet are known to hunt. We have a fenced in yard for that reason.  Squirrels have come over on the other side of the fence and luckily they have been able to quickly jump back over the fence onto a tree.

So how do you train a dog with inbred hunting qualities not to hunt?  To shoot a puppy??  Nope.  I think she was wrong.

Upwards of 16,000 immigrants on track to enroll in WA Medicaid expansion

Washington State Standard
Washington’s immigrant population is jumping at the chance to apply for health insurance as coverage expands for those without a federally-recognized immigration status.

That’s according to a new report from the Washington Health Benefit Exchange, which looks at the number of “uninsured and undocumented” people who have applied for insurance through the state’s Health Plan Finder website. The findings show that at least 16,000 people are on track to be covered by the state’s upcoming Medicaid expansion for immigrants.

Beginning Nov. 1, 2023, people without legal immigration status have been allowed to start shopping for private health and dental insurance under a federally approved waiver, which waived the federal definition of “lawfully present” under the Affordable Care Act.

The report found that, through Jan. 18, an estimated 24% of those uninsured and undocumented in Washington have applied for health coverage – about 24,000 applicants of the state’s approximately 100,000 total undocumented individuals.

Agree

I’ve trained all my own labs for hunting and every one of them has been obedience trained and trained to leave my wife’s chickens alone. I had one lab that at nine months old, did get a hold of a chicken and I corrected that behavior immediately and permanently

And then to practically brag about shooting a dog tells me that she’s a little loose in the head

And the so-called snapping at her was probably an impulsive reaction versus being vicious.  A behavior that needs to be quickly corrected, but can be.

I’ve seen many times when people get a dog and don’t take any time to train it and then become indignant that the dog doesn’t listen to them

Sorry folks, in the country if a dog chases livestock, dog takes a dirt nap.

US Coast Guard return 92 migrants to The Bahamas, Cuba following multiple task force interdictions
MIAMI, United States (CMC)

 — The United States Coast Guard on Friday said that crews from two of its cutters have repatriated 92 migrants to The Bahamas and Cuba following unlawful, irregular migration attempts over the last weekend.

The crew of the US Coast Guard Cutter Isaac Mayo transferred 40 people to The Bahamas, following two interdictions of migration attempts on April 19.

The first of the two interdictions occurred Friday morning when watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Miami received notification from Border Patrol and CBP Air and Marine Operations crews that police were on-scene with a migrant venture in Biscayne Bay, the US Coast Guard said.

It said the second interdiction occurred Friday night when watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Key West received notification from Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine Operations crews of a migrant venture south of Key Largo, Florida.

In a massive feeling of schadenfreude around the game this year from others.   The fact the  'stros are 7-19, with no improvement on the horizon?

To finish .500 Houston will have to play .545  Baseball tihe rest of the season.

The needle on my give a shit meter on the game has pegged to the bottom. Wake me in '25.

EV's are not going anywhere and will take over. I drove a Tesla and it was an incredible drive. How many people after buying a battery powered drill still use their plug in drill. Not many. I went to my local Pilot truck stop this morning to get gas and they are putting in 25 ev chargers.

Ford Lightenings was a mistake to begin with but do not blame EV's over them.

Where will all that electricity come from?

Maybe I'm missing something, but the last time I looked, there hasn't been a newly permitted full-size power plant authorized in decades, and certainly not even a tiny percentage of the approximately 700 new full-size nuclear plants needed to provide the electricity needed to replace just half of the current U.S. vehicle fleet with EVs.

The mad rush for EVs will simply mean that, like private jets, ground transportation will be the purview of the wealthy and government officials - just as it was in the Soviet Union and every other leftist "paradise".

Of course.  It should be a floor, not a median or mean.

The floor is $0.
