One of four former Minneapolis police officers at the scene of George Floyd's death learned his sentence on manslaughter charges on Wednesday.
Thomas Lane, who already pleaded guilty to a state charge of aiding and abetting second-degree manslaughter in the killing of Floyd, was sentenced to three years.
He was already serving a 2 1/2-year federal sentence for violating Floyd’s civil rights. FOX 9 Minneapolis reported that Wednesday's sentencing means no additional jail time for Lane.
In reaching a plea deal with Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison's office, he agreed to plead guilty to aiding and abetting second-degree manslaughter under the contingency that he get a three-year state sentence to be served at the same time as his federal sentence.

It's not just Minneapolis, it's Portland, Seattle, Chicago, etc.
The riots should have been nipped in the bud when they first started and they weren't.

The whole racist anti-cop riot thing has been based largely on false premises, from the git-go with the "Hands up don't shoot" crap that the OBAMA DOJ ENCOURAGED. Since then it's been open season on LEOs and towns where some perp gets killed or dies in custody or otherwise.

It should be quite obvious to our nation's liberals that defunding/reducing police forces and overall slamming has resulted in sky high homicide rates in many cities. The rates were pretty bad before.
But we're talking about liberals here, so them getting a clue is not so obvious.

You do realize this is the exact outcome they desired. They created a victim mentality for the citizenry to push their agenda and stay in power. If you are a victim, you can't stand up for yourself. You must be warded by the state who is all knowing and benevolent.

Even dwindling tax bases and industry flight hasn't given them a clue. I'm purt'near at the point where we should build the Wall--around those blue enclaves, and leave them to their own devices.

Out of prison. Released after serving three years. Three years total for killing a woman who simply knocked on his car window.
You can bet they'll make Chauvin serve every bit of his twenty years for being there when the thug George Floyd expired.

Doesn't matter what charges they were convicted on because in reality they all got death sentences for "Killing Saint George". Gangbangers in prison will be offing all of them within the first year.
