I've been with the same crazy women for 16 years, fortunately we don't live together, she lives in a Ford Explorer somewhere in the Texas Hill Country, wherever her Spirit(s) take her. I've got her down to Bi-Monthly visits, same as my Humana Nurse, Life is Good.

Corbes....Remember the Meat Loaf song...Kinda sums up my feelings on the subject.
I swore, that I would love you to the end of time
So now I'm praying for the end of time
To hurry up and arrive

WAS 25 years...
Won't do that again.

Celebrating 37 years this December. 3 children, 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and out of all of those we see one of our kids on a regular basis and one grandchild occasionally. Life can sure kick you in the pants. Sad. Oh, and we have a furry child that is way too smart for his own good...lol

Whew. That's a long time and quite an accomplishment these days. Congrats.

44 years and counting. We met when we were 18 and both freshmen in college. Two kids, one dog, no grandkids.

I met my wife at work we were both eighteen and the first date I took her on I told her I was going to put a ring on her finger, that was 44 years ago. Oh yeah we got married 6 months after that date.

30 years or so... told her I love her just a few minutes ago... I think she returned the compliment (not sure, my hearing ain't what it used to be, she may be cursing me)... So I blame my long marriage on my lack of hearing.
-
I'm afraid I don't understand the question....
-
I decided when I was a teenager that I was too irresponsible to be a good wife and mother, so no marriage for me. But I have had cats as long as 16 years. Those relationships were often far better than any I've ever had with a guy, but they never lasted long enough.
Anyway, for those of you who have been with the same guy or gal for a long time through thick and thin, I say, "congratulations, God bless you and may He grant you many more years together."

My wife was an open book. I was Illiterate.
