The Massachusetts State Police is in mourning Wednesday after a veteran, decorated K9 was killed in the line of duty earlier this week.
K9 Frankie was fatally shot Tuesday afternoon as members of the police fugitive apprehension team attempted to take a person into custody inside a Fitchburg, Massachusetts, home.
