The election of Donald Trump (http://www.dailydot.com/topics/donald-trump/) apparently has given Grubhub (http://www.dailydot.com/tags/grubhub/) CEO Matt Maloney a bad case of indigestion.

That could be one explanation why Maloney sent a company-wide email this week urging anyone who believed in Trump’s rhetoric to resign immediately.

Naturally, the backlash against the online food delivery service was almost immediate, with the #boycotgrubhub  (https://twitter.com/hashtag/boycottgrubhub?src=hash)hashtag quickly picking up steam on Twitter (http://www.dailydot.com/topics/twitter/). But Maloney now says the words were taken out of context.

The stock has been tanking since the email and is still falling. It is down today. Impossible to tell how much his anti-Trump email will eventually cost the company.

I love the way the author uses the word Naturally, the stock took a nosedive. Naturally, you just pissed off 50% of your customers. The use of the word Naturally reminds me of this guy.

Karma, poetic justice, and schadenfreude all rolled up into on shiny, twinkly little Christmas ornament.

We call this pulling a  "Target'.

Time for this fool to step down or to have a lawsuit against it.

Just don't know whose should come first, by the employees or by shareholders?

Yes they do. They used to buy GrubHub shares too.

@Wingnut

Stupid is SUPPOSED to hurt. Pain is a very effective source of inspiration to learn what you need to learn to avoid future pain.
