Shocking surveillance shows Parkland shooter attack prison officer, turns into full-on brawl
July 15, 2021 | Kay Apfel
Surveillance video of Parkland, Florida school shooter, Nikolas Cruz was released this week that allegedly shows him violently lunging at an officer in Broward County Jail on November 13, 2018, about nine months after he committed the horrific Parkland shooting massacre that left 17 dead and 17 wounded.
The video was released Wednesday as part of his first in-person court appearance since the coronavirus pandemic began. In it, Cruz can be seen erratically pacing circles around empty cafeteria tables.
Eventually, Cruz stops pacing and approaches the guard, who was identified as Sgt. Raymond Beltran, according to CBS Miami, as he monitors Cruz from his station in the corner of the room. Cruz points at Beltran, then gives him the finger. While the clip has no audio, his body language indicates that whatever he said to Beltran, he was upset about.
The footage shows Cruz then lunging at the officer and wrestling him to the ground while trying to throw punches at Beltran’s head.

And that friends is why police such as in Minneapolis instigated the restraint used on out of control individuals like George Floyd who chose to disobey police orders.

YUP. And that is why, at least up in here, that is a near automatic dime added to your stretch... And COs ain't kind or forgiving in the light of such things. So that stretch will go hard as hell.
Good.

Eh, he knows prosecutors are going to go for the death penalty so he working on a psych defense.

This would be consistent with his behavior throughout his years in local schools. School officials didn't do their jobs by reporting his criminal behavior to the police or sheriffs. That failure to do their @#$% jobs resulted in Cruz being able to buy his gun at a gun store, passing the background check.
As for an insanity defense, whatever the verdict, he should never draw another breath in freedom.

@GtHawk
I seriously doubt he is aware of much beyond hot and cold,and there ain't no fixing him. Put him down,like the rabid animal he is.
