@sneakypete
@240B

Despite the Boss Lady's warning, you two are still going at it, on the Pets Welcome thread, no less!  I have deleted the conversation and I am giving you this warning:  Do not post this crap on the lighthearted threads, like Pets Welcome, the Silliness and Political Graphics thread, to name just three.

We have literally thousands of other threads, but the personal attacks must stop right now, on any thread!  Pinging me to your fight does not help your "cause."

So, if I see this going on again, you both will get a Timeout, probably 3 days.

That is all....

THAT was awesome!!!  Thank you, @mountaineer !
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

-Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."

Jack Russell,

We have a ruff coated Jack Russell.  Smartest dog I have ever known.  She really is incredible.  My wife and I have talked about cloning her, she is that special.  She is indeed a member of the family.

My wife is at our lake house, and she had an event this week where she was very upset, crying most of the day.  She told me the dog sat at her feet crying too.  She feels everything my wife does, and it is something to observe.

She runs our house, even let's us sleep in HER bed!!!

What a darling dog! Looks like she can hear things from the next county. Please tell me you're kidding about the cloning thing. That's such a Barbra Streisand thing to do. Let's get EVERY dog a home before we clone new ones. Anyway, wherever you got your dog, looks like you hit the jackpot.

I have a chance at a king shepherd/ malamute mix pup this spring. And to sweeten the deal, the sire is the great-nephew of my best mountain dog ever - Brown. This sire is his brother's son twice or three times down the line.

I WANT that dog. I'll bet it's beautiful if some of the king shepherd shows through...
All I have to do is speak for it, and I will get the pick.

Sheesh. I don't think I can take that on anymore. But I want to.

I bet it will be a beauty! I had to look up king shepherd. Great looking dog as is a Malamute. But truthfully all I could think of is the amount of shedding in the house. :terror:

Almost true.

Technically though... Following a pup, from one disaster to the next... A path of destruction both wide and long... And me squeaking along behind on my buggy... with my grabbers.
Ever tried to pick up dog poo with your grabbers?

There's a legit moment of caution in that.

I am envisioning shepherd markings, and a shepherd guard coat, with malamute fluff underneath... And a great, fluffy, curled tail of course... Kinda Malamute, but more camo....  happy77

Well, yeah... But if I can find a woman that likes to knit...  :laugh:

No, really... I have to figure out if I can keep up with a mountain dog anymore... not just the shedding, which is substantial, btw, for about 3 months...

It takes a whole lot of stamina to keep up with a 100-120lb dog with malamute energy.
If I had my pins under me, there would be no question.

But maybe a nice lazy cow dog... a mini Aussie or a Border Collie...

I made the mistake of letting the dog sleep in the bed, now she owns it.  You'd never think a dog that small could stretch out that much and take up so much room.  I'll never have any other breed, they are so entertaining.

Ha! and I really mean HA! Try a 100+lb malamute who farts worse than you do... And thinks it's funny when he chases you out of your own bed...

@240B

Is that a real photo,or one of those "photo shop" things?

You rarely see the pure joy on display that we see in that photo. Whatever it is,I hope it spent it's whole life being that happy.
