On Feb. 25, The New York Times published an opinion piece in which I urged Democrats to employ caution in dealing with the new incumbent administration. More specifically, I called for a "tactical pause" that would allow Democrats to "regroup, look forward and make decisions about where we want to get to over the next two years." The reaction to that piece was as depressing as it was predictable—a bicoastal condemnation.
 
Molly Jong-Fast, the estimable commentator, took to Vanity Fair, calling me out and calling for the Democratic Party to mount a full-court press, "making noise on TV and social media" in response to the chaos inflicted by the Trump administration. Meanwhile, on the Pacific Coast, California Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom shared with Charlie Kirk on his new podcast, "This Is Gavin Newsom" just how much he disagrees with me.

We saw the Newsom/Jong-Fast/Green strategy in play last Tuesday night during the president's address to Congress —pink suits, paddles and dry-erase boards aplenty.
 
Contrast that with the Carvillian approach taken by Sen. Elissa Slotkin, D-Mich., and the responses they both solicited.

Carville has become to democrats what MLK has become to blacks, some old dude they used to listen to, but no more.

Yes it does James because they are a cult with a completely inflexible dogma and a Spanish Inquisition mentality.

Carville is still living in the days when the Rats at least pretended to have ideas. Now it's all just kill the heretics, of which Trump is their number one target.

I am starting to worry that the Crypt Keeper is losing it one day it’s telling the dems to take it easy lay back and let Trump self destruct, then he tells them fight Trump loudly and physically, then he swings back to lay back, and let Trump self destruct **nononono*

Carville is right.  But the leadership of the Degenerate Party does not care to hear what the relic has to say.  They intend to go off that cliff, and they do not care how far they fall.

The only thing going for them is that the approach being used by Trump/Musk in regard to the federal workforce will earn new voters for the Democommies.  And with a 4 seat margin in the House, and a 50/50 situation in the Senate, it just takes flipping  2 seats in the House and 1 seat in the Senate, and the Dems have voting majorities to impeach Trump/Vance in February, 2027. 

And Trump/Musk are making utterly foolish decisions in regard to the health oriented agencies.  The CDC has roughly 40,000 employees, and they are cutting the CDC without having someone to head the agency, whose hearing was today.  The NIH on the other hand, has a doctor that made statements at his Senate hearings that his staff, he would not allow cuts.

If we have a deadly outbreak, Trump will take a hit.  And the folks being cut at the CDC are not the dead heads, but the folks that are 1st responders with an outbreak.  Plain *ss stupid.

As long as Dems continue to embrace men/boys in womens'/girl's sport and locker rooms, they are all but done as a party.

When it comes to rats you cant engage them as a group.  The thing to do is strip them off from the herd one by one, otherwise they spook and stampede.
You don’t become cooler with age but you do care progressively less about being cool, which is the only true way to actually be cool.
