This Thread Brought To You By The Letter R:

In Case You Missed It Dept.:

I'd like to say one thing to Los Angeles civil authorities and to California water management officials. If the fire hydrants aren't going to work, stop giving me tickets every time I park in front of one.

Defense Secretary nominee Pete Hegseth had an irate Senate confirmation hearing Tuesday. For four hours he had to listen to three Democratic women screaming at him, four women if you count Tim Kaine. At the end of the day, Pete volunteered to return to Iraq and Syria for some relative peace and quiet.

President Trump's administration got to work Tuesday awaiting the confirmation of his cabinet appointees to implement his plans. Progressive Left commentators were all over cable news Sunday warning that Trump's policies are a time bomb. And funny, the first thing Trump did was extend Tik Tok.

Gavin Newsom says he's searching for who's responsible for the dry fire hydrants. It's like OJ searching for the real killer.

You can tell Democrats are desperate to get back into the spotlight. Did you see Trump dance with the Village People today? Did you notice the Indian chief? It was Liz Warren.

The New York Times reported Friday that Joe Biden's goal as president was to pass progressive legislation and go down in history as the next FDR. After the Inauguration Joe Biden was flown home to Wilmington where he went to work memorizing his next speech. It goes, Welcome to WalMart.

President Trump is scheduled to visit the Los Angeles fire areas Friday. The mayor blamed the fires on her absence, the governor blamed the fires on climate change, the fire chief blamed the fires on the city council. To err is human, but to blame it on somebody else shows management potential.

Washington, D.C. shook off a Sunday night snowstorm and bone-chilling cold front to stage the U.S. peaceful transfer of power in brilliant sunlight. The capital literally glistened. When the early morning Monday news reported there was snow all over Washington, out of habit Hunter Biden denied it was his.

President Trump issued executive orders Monday that evicted illegal aliens, opened oil drilling, ended DEI and even re-named bodies of water. The next day the Gulf of America was hit by its first blizzard in history. Trump hasn't been president for one week and already he's solved Global Warming.

Inauguration Day received the usual divided coverage by the cable news channels. CNN reported that Donald Trump was sworn into the office and moved into the White House. And MSNBC reported that Trump evicted an elderly man with dementia from his home.

Episcopal Bishop Marianne Budde lectured Trump in the pulpit on mercy for illegal immigrants and transgenders at the National Prayer Service. It wasn’t her crowd of Episcopalians. When the bishop said there’s something wrong with America the congregation replied in unison, and also with you.

President Trump in his first hours in office on Monday signed an executive order withdrawing the United States from the Paris Climate Accords Conference. In its place, the president has his own personal climate policy. He plans to build a border wall that’s so high no illegal immigrant can climate.

May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight,

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

In a time of universal deceit - telling the truth is a revolutionary act.
More than any other time in history, mankind faces a crossroads. One path leads to despair and utter hopelessness. The other, to total extinction. Let us pray we have the wisdom to choose correctly.-Woody Allen
If God invented marathons to keep people from doing anything more stupid, the triathlon must have taken him completely by surprise.

Nice.  Thank you, Mr. Pookie.

If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-
