Yeah, Wiki's an OK source to use for quick look-ups on basic history matters but it is garbage for modern political and biographical research. The pre-approved master editors are all commie and shut down any dissent or attempts at good faith correction. Back in 2020, I tried to update the Wiki page of an up and coming politician who was a retired U.S. Army officer, and the editors refused to allow me to include all his service medals (despite standard practice for other prominent veterans), claiming that they could not be verified, even though he's clearly wearing them on his final pre-retirement official U.S. Army photograph. They then banned me as a "sock puppet," which was a gross lie.
So yeah, screw Wikipedia.
