From the article:
“While looking at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission Alerts. I can confirm that there is radioactive material that has gone missing on Dec 2nd, 2024 out of New Jersey. This might be the reason for the drones… just speculation at this point,” he wrote.
The missing material, identified as a Ge-68 pin source manufactured by Eckert & Ziegler, was reported lost by its licensee on December 3, 2024. Shipped for disposal, the container arrived at its destination severely damaged and empty.
This would explain earlier reports (didn't some of the info come from politicians with "good sources"?) that the "drones" were government aircraft doing searches for radioactivity.
A lot of questions...
A shipment "out of New Jersey" -- out of WHERE, particularly?
Who was the shipper?
What method was used for shipment? (if "containerized", it would be by truck first, could it them have gone to a rail intermodal terminal, etc.?)
If by truck, who was "the contract carrier"?
Who was the driver?
Did the same carrier/driver travel all the way to the destination?
If so, what happened enroute to damage the container?
What does "severely damaged" MEAN?
Was it only the doors to the inside that were so damaged?
Where WAS the destination?
Who was the consignee?
Did they check the condition of the container upon arrival? (I would guess "yes")
Well, did they ask the driver about it?
What was his response?
Even in an accident, a container doesn't get "fully empty". The merchandise would be scattered around. Yet, it is not there, the remains of the container are "empty".
How did that happen?
Pure speculation:
Somebody was interested in "that cargo".
And... they got it (hijacked the truck?).
Seems to me whoever was driving that truck has some 'splainin' to do...
