I personally do not think those 'blanket immunity' pardons will stand. A "pardon" is forgiveness for a crime one has committed and been found guilty. A pardon is usually granted due to some circumstances which cause questions about weather the conviction is justified and appropriate.

"Immunity" is a totally different thing than a pardon. I do not think POTUS has the constitutional authority to grant his friends immunity from conviction for crimes which have not been investigated, discovered, or charged yet. It simply does not work like that. That would be insanity.

Neither can be stopped by Congress or the courts.
Mr. Patel can assume his job immediately.

Mr. Patel's first task upon assuming control should be to FIRE EVERYONE who is "fire-able".

If Trump shuts the FBI down, and retains only those that are first line supervision and below, and folds them into Homeland, there will be little for those that complain to sink their teeth into.  Homeland needs to be restructured, moving Secret Service out, along with FEMA, and who knows who else.

Along the line of DOGE, I say take the 450+/- agencies of the federal government and reduce it down by 50% minimum.

There is nothing honorable nor has there ever been about the FBI.  Hoover was a whore of a human being, and those that followed, no better.  Wray may be the worst of all.  What the FBI did in conjunction with Trump and his folks in the FISA court should have everyone involved in that at the FBI terminated DAY ONE.  And that includes the FISA judges, who are grossly incompetent!

I say end the FBI, cut the CIA, NSA and every other intelligence agency by 60% of their staff.  Keep only the ground folks in the field and purge everyone here in the USA warming a chair in a building.  All of them.  They are all out of control and beyond the reach of those that are supposed to control them,
