Well, they could have used the same sales angle if Kamala had been elected, only blamed inflation instead of tariffs.


Inflation would have affected everything, though, not just selected imports.

Democrats seem obsessed with the price of avocados, claiming prices will skyrocket and become utterly unaffordable if Trump imposes tariffs on Mexico. Of course, they disregard the facts that Mexico probably will give in to at least some of Trump's demands, and tariffs will become a non-issue, and that the fruit is available from 70 other countries. They also disregard the fact that most of us can survive without guacamole if we have to.
