Texas will never turn blue
« on: November 06, 2024, 02:11:51 pm »
Attorney General Ken Paxton
@KenPaxtonTX

Tonight, Texas has once again proven itself as a bastion of unwavering conservative values and a firewall against the radical left. Across this great state, when Republicans unite, we are an unstoppable force — delivering decisive victories that send a clear message: Texas will never turn blue.

 This is a victory for every hardworking Texan who believes in secure borders, freedom of speech, the sanctity of life, and a government that serves the people — not special interests. The people of Texas stood up to the left's destructive agenda and chose the path of prosperity, freedom, and American values.

 And, of course, we celebrate President Trump’s strong win in Texas, showing yet again that Texans support a true fighter who puts America First. And let me personally congratulate Senator Ted Cruz on his hard-fought re-election victory, standing firm for Texas in the U.S. Senate.

 Tonight’s results remind us that Texas is a conservative stronghold and always will be. Together, we are taking a stand for our values, and we are ready to keep fighting to preserve the Texas we love for generations to come. The tide of true conservatism is sweeping through our state, and we are just getting started.

But it won't be for the lack of trying!

Read it all.
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

The fact that hispanics are significantly trending right?  And make TX permanently Red?

I just love the laws of unintended consequences.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

A lot of people don’t realize California has moved loony left in recent years due to white voters especially in the north.  If those jerks keep moving to Texas, it will be a problem.

*hmmmm* Texas absorbs more Californians than any other state and turns very much redder. How'd that happen? Is it possible that those new Texans don't want what they left?

That  whole "Browning of America" the dems kept pushing isn't working out like they planned. If only the Blacks could get off the plantation.

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly; do not claim to be wiser than you are. Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.   Romans 12:16-18

Among those who were not born in the state (about 40% of voters) most supported Colin Allred for senate.  A huge chunk of new residents are hispanics, which tilted GOP overall.  So that leaves the white liberals from California and blacks as continuing base of support for democrats.
