One In Three Young Adults Rejects Parenthood, Citing ‘Environmental’ Impact

According to polling by the Independent Center in association with Newsweek, one in three young adults do not have and do not want to have children. [emphasis, links added]

The survey found that 30 percent of Generation Z (people born between 1997 and 2012) and millennials (born between 1981 and 1996) did not have and do not want to have any children.


The results come after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced in April that the U.S. birthrate has dropped to an all-time low.

In comparison, the report shows that 62 percent of poll respondents say they have or want to have children. Nine percent say they are unsure.

The survey also examined whether the “American dream” is just a dream for young adults.

My conservative son on the other hand has 5 kids and counting.....

They can adopt illegals teens.  If they can't mow or clean their homes they can trick them out to their liberal neighbors for a small fee.

Fat chance!  When we are bringing 250,000+ mussies into the USA each year, and their women have on average 9 births, I think the mussies will outpace the Amish.  Right now, I am sure there are several times more mussies than Amish in the USA.

Fat chance!  When we are bringing 250,000+ mussies into the USA each year, and their women have on average 9 births, I think the mussies will outpace the Amish.  Right now, I am sure there are several times more mussies than Amish in the USA.

The Amish have the highest fertility rate on Earth, surpassing the Muslims.

Well I did my part... well mostly the missus did... My oldest boy said he didn't want kids (I will keep my thoughts about that to myself)... Surely one of the boys will marry and have grandchildren I hope...
