barron trump behind donald trump's joe rogan podcast deal? report says...

Donald Trump is in Austin, Texas on Friday to make his most high-profile podcast appearance so far on the campaign trail. The 78-year-old will tape an episode on the Joe Rogan's podcast, 'The Joe Rogan Experience,' coming on the heels of his appearance on the podcasts of Adin Ross and stand-up comedian Theo Von. As opposed to the campaign in 2016 where Trump focused on TV, this time he is going big on podcasts, and reports say his teenage son Barron is the brains behind it all.

Before Trump's appearance on the Joe Rogan podcast, ABC News reported citing sources that the 78-year-old's podcast appearances are being curated by Barron Trump, the recent high school graduate teenage son of the former president, Barron Trump.

After taping the episode on the 'Joe Rogan Experience,' at the former UFC commentators' studio in Austin, the former president will be holding a news conference in the city. This is his only appearance in Texas in this campaign trail since he came to the state to attend an event of the National Rifles Association in May.

ABC News reported that Trump's podcast appearances have been extremely successful when it came to viewership numbers. While the Adin Ross episode had over 2.6 million, the Theo Von one had nearly 15 million. He also appeared on an episode of Flagrant, which racked up nearly 6 million views. Plus, his appearance on the PBD Podcast got 2.7 million views.

If his Dad becomes president again, I think he may eventually dabble into politics after he finishes school.  I don't think he has his sights set on being the "King of Podcast" -- he's way too young.
