Biden expected to visit Amazon rainforest in November, sources say

U.S. President Joe Biden is expected to visit the Amazon rainforest and meet Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva before they attend the G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro in November, sources familiar with the negotiations told Reuters.
Biden would stop in Manaus, the Amazon's largest city, or in Belem, at the mouth of the Amazon River, on Nov. 16 or 17, after the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Lima, Peru, which Lula will also attend, the sources said.

Their meeting in the Amazon would replace an official visit to Brasilia that Biden had promised Lula when the Brazilian leader visited the White House in 2023.

The day after the Group of 20 summit in Rio, Lula will receive Chinese President Xi Jinping on a state visit in Brasilia...............

Is it really a good idea to expose an 80 year old man to tropical diseases, like Zika?

I guess the basement in Delaware wasn't far enough away from the election he was supposed to be in.  I hope there are people at the White House to dispatch Federal Resources if the MAGA chaos gremlins throw hissy fits.

Supposedly to meet the Brazilian President before the G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro in November.

Not that the meeting will mean anything to Brandon -- he's already lost in his own forest.

Perhaps he'll be gone on election day!  How convenient.  It won't matter to him anyways.

If 'something' happens and he is taken out of the picture, that effectively obliterates the trailhead by which a lot of other crimes can be accessed. But without that starting point, from pay-for-play, or play- for -pay, to questionable dispositions of classified material and the possible movement thereof, as well as misuse/abuse of the DOJ, a lot of keesters get covered.

He may be going to the Amazon, but is he coming back?
