Cruz is not in trouble. Texas is not purple. I don't see how any middle-of-the-road voter can vote for Allred after the way Cruz eviscerated him tonight.

Even as a Texan, I'm still a tad worried, in that there are still a whole lot of the MAGA crowd calling him Lyin' Ted.  Trump's meme has stuck to more of a degree than people realize.  In fact I know two who are almost as conservative as I am, and are still voting 3rd party in the Senate race.

   That's the point I have been making all along @catfish1957

   Cruz would be a shoein other than aggravating the Texas Trumpers.  Pizz off 2% of Maga in your State and it shows in your critical polling results.


   I'm not saying they would Vote for Allred (except for 10% that hate Cruz that much), they'll just leave that spot blank on the Ballot.  You can't vote 'Straight Ticket' anymore in Texas. 
    In spite of McConnell's NRSC (whom he used to be a member of) not giving him any $$$ and some, not all, Trumpers NOT voting for him, I'll bet on the Kid.

   His decimation of Allred tonight, reminded me of this guy.

If it weren't for the abortion, and to a lesser degree, the IVF issue Allred would have looked like a fool. Not being a single issue voter myself, this baffles and saddens me. I know that I have seen posts on this site that abortion would be a drag on the Pub's ticket. I was skeptical...I guess I need to get out more. With all that is going on in this country that should be far down on the list. Consequently, Allred looked good to people.

Ted beat him up pretty badly. When Ted countered his policies, after Allred saying Ted was a liar, all he did was look down and shake his head. Even after being presented with his own voting record. Given the chance for rebuttal, he couldn't/didn't. I guess he doesn't think his voting record is accessible. So when cornered...reverts to "Liar!!", Cruz going to Cancun and hiding in a linen closet on J6. So I wonder if he was in that same closet...or how would he know?

I don't think it will be Allred that beats Ted...it will be abortion. **nononono* Allred must have some rich donors. His ads are nonstop...and almost completely focused on abortion.
