The problem with hitting tankers is that some may be owned or under contract to China. That's not going to work in Israel's favor.
Same with taking out the Kharg island terminal. China relies on Iran for a good portion of the crude that it imports, and again, may take some kind of action in retaliation.
The issue is simple:
Iran is making nuclear weapons.
This is a threat.
If you want to "end the threat", then end production of the nuclear weapons.
Directly.
Doing so will probably require "more than" just "conventional" weaponry, however.
