Weather Forecast Today- Death Valley California

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 100. Breezy, with an east southeast wind 19 to 24 mph becoming east 5 to 10 mph. Winds could gust as high as 33 mph.

With a name like "Death Valley" one might have a clue you don't go for a walk-a-bout in the summer. But then people are stupider these days.

Funny though, is that the reporting station is a "Visitor Center".
I hate hot weather, so I an kind of perplexed why anyone would want to "visit" such a desolate area that is one of the hottest places on earth.

Sounds a lot like here where I am...but I am not far from Death Valley. We've had a day or two above 120F already. The low last night was 96F.

Well to be fair the winter highs are in the 60's and 70's....so if you like a landscape of nuclear desolation :shrug:
