In a recent report by the Market Gains channel, the host shared about the issue of minimum wage in California. Just a month ago, the state implemented a $20 minimum wage, a move celebrated by many workers. However, the initial optimism has given way to concerns as massive layoffs sweep through various industries.

Why not just set the minimum wage equal to the highest income reported by any state resident, divided by 2,000?

This is what follows when you slavenly devote yourself to some false childlike cult ideology and try to remake society according to it. We in the normal world call it - reality.

Thus, begins the stagflationary death cycle.

"Political correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it’s entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end." - Alan Simpson, Frontline Video Interview

Or that prices went up? I tell you what, if the morons in California ever make that happen and there is nothing that will keep me in this state once my mother passes...no matter what my wife says about not leaving our kids and grandkids because there won't be any choice, it'll be leave or live in the car and circle starvation.

I seem to recall that French dude from the 19th century who visited the US, said we would last until we realized we could vote ourselves money from the treasury?

Let them have it.  No problem/

Live in  harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.

Best be gitting while the gitting is good... Bring your mamma and drag your kids out by the lip... Your grands and great-grands will talk of you in reverent tones as the great Moses of your family - As my whole clan does about my dad. Or Lot... Imagine standing in the mountains afar off overlooking the burning rising up over the cities of the plain...

Or imagine trying to sell your real estate after the fact in Sodom or Gomorrah...

Great if you can, my moms going on 93 and in very poor health with some serious memory issues starting, she would never survive a move. Anyway, my wife would never leave the kids and grandkids so

My mom was 82. It wasn't easy. When you gotta go, you gotta go.

Wonder how popular $15 Big Macs will be in CA?
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

I don't think they are very popular at their current price point, you can bet that every fast food location that has been forced to pay the current $20 minimum is fast tracking robotics, order kiosks as well as AI or remote, as in India, order taking and I can see a location get down to less than five employees a shift, especially if they completely eliminate their dining areas and go full take out. This is the result of forcing a $20 minimum on chains with 60 or more locations in California...for now, you know the socialists won't stop until they can kill every mom and pop business in the state and drive every possible employer out that remains.
