I'm still in the "Trump while holding my nose" column.

I suspect RFK Jr's share of the votes will increase with the approach of November largely from disgust of Wrecking Ball Joe.  It could present a scenario where someone with 34% of the vote wins the election, as was the case with Abe Lincoln.

Right now RFK Jr is polling at the 12-15% range, and I could easily see that number double or more by November, which would make him a real contender.

That is why if you are conservative or even moderate, you must stick with the Republican Party.  There is nothing conservative about RFK Jr.  He is every bit as liberal as Wrecking Ball Joe, he just isn't quit as insane is WBJ!!!!!!!!

What?...

That primaries are still happening, and even with Trump sealing this thing long ago.  "Other, including other candidates" is still pulling near 20% within the  Primaries, held in the last 30 days.

April 23- Pennsylvania- Other- 17.2%
May 4- Missouri-  Other- 0 (uncontested)
May 7- Indiana-  Other- 21.7%
May 14- Nebraska- Other- 20.4%
May 14- Maryland- Other- 22.4%
May 14- West Virginia- Other- 11.6%
May 18- Idaho- 15.1%
May 18- Montana- Unbound

Seems this should raise some red flags, but......

I'm still skipping POTUS and voting down ballot -- so far, there really isn't anyone to vote for down ballot, so for the first time since I was able to vote, I may sit this one out.

As for Trump's rallies - -I watched part of one recently.  He normally give rallies like none other, but he appears weary and tired.  It's to be understood with all that they're putting him through and all that he's been through. Secondly, his rallies don't equate to votes; we've been there before and they'll steal another election if need be, guaranteed.

Also, a scenario IMHO that may happen; Trump may not be able to run because of charges against him, Biden will have to step down and RFK Jr. takes the WH as an Independent.

That was impressive.  But I am certain that some of this newly found electoral zest is DJT expanding more of his appeal and reach toward moderates and minorites.

Problem is that voting faction is going to be a lot less reliable come November than past the dependable  Conservative voting bloc. I think this backfires.    And I say this sincerely as one of the "nose holders", and not a TDS individual.

The mistake that Trump supporters make is to think that these huge rallies for Trump is a sign of broad support for him. But most voters do not attend political rallies

My nephew went to a Trump rally and he is not a Trump supporter. So how many of these people attending these rallies are either just curious or are just attracted to the celebrity factor vs True believers. The MAGA movement is very unpopular with the general population

Trump squeaked out a lucky win in 2016 thanks to the electoral college and millions of Democrat voters staying home that year. But since then, the Republican party has been on a losing streak.

There is a chance, however small, 2016 could be repeated because of the pro HAMAs wing of the Democrat Party that decides to stay home this election day over Israel. Or they could decide that Trump would be worse and decide to “hold their nose” and vote for Biden
I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.

MEH. I will reiterate: A rock star can fill stadiums out here in the midst of redneck-nation. It's the show. Folks come to see the show - any show. That is not the same thing as a reliable vote. All the hype is gone in the voting booth.

I just returned from Wegman's grocery store.  A single rib eye steak sprinkled with coarse black pepper was $26.86

An expensive steak has nothing to do with an election.

That steak was expensive in 2022 and Republicans still lost

Exactly...... and why 1 in 5 self proclaimed Republicans are going out of their way, showing at to the polls on an already decided race, and....... voting for "other".

I know it is a small sample size here, but less than 15% are wholeheartedly supporting him at TBR in this second poll.   When would you ever see that at any Conservative forum site for a GOP candidate

You make a good point.  You have to admit DJT is a hoot, in a Stand Up Comedy kind of way.  Back in the day, Chappelle, Daingerfield, and Steve Martin used to fill 20K seat venues too.

There’s no such thing as a blue dog Democrat and even if there was, there’s not enough of them to put Donald Trump over the top

Sorry

Trump is benefiting in the polls right now because people are unhappy with Biden

But as the campaign really starts to get going, and people start paying attention, its going to be nothing more than Biden sucks

We saw the same thing in the 2004 campaign
